Register your domain name - Your domain name is the name of your website and usually the name that people type into their browsers to get to your website. You should choose a domain name that reflects your company name or what you do. We can register domain names for you as well.

Gather and arrange your content - Do so according to what your goal is for the website as well as each page in the site. You can refer to your existing marketing materials and other resources you may have for the content you need for your home page, about us page, and pages for different products and services, etc. We can give you a checklist to help you organize your efforts.

Determine how you want your website to look and feel - Research the web for ideas or look at the gallery section of GoldfishNetwork website for ideas. We will be glad to consult with you and put our experience to work for you in coming up with a great design.

Review the initial draft - Our designers can usually deliver a initial draft of a website within 5-7 business days. The next step is that we review the draft with the client and request their input and decision about the design.

Construction - After approval of the design, we will build the website structure and use the content you provide us to populate the pages. We contact you with any questions we may have as work progresses. We test each part of the site's functionality and ready it for delivery. This part takes 15-20 business days if we have received all of the content from you at the start.

Delivery - We review the website with you and, after final approval, we upload the site to the server. After publishing, we also burn a hard copy of your site on CD-ROM. Altogether, your site can take as little as 30 business days to complete and deliver.

That includes all hosting, all monthly maintenance, periodic "traffic reports" for the website, AND up to 1 hour of Tech/Design time, each month for minor edits or changes. That's like having a $80-$100 per hour webmaster on call to serve you!  9 out of 10 clients host with us to access this service. (This is available once each month and cannot be accrued from month to month.)

If you're a Realtor, we can also provide "Content Control" for the Featured Listings section of your website using our Real Estate Listings Editor. You can add or remove photos of the properties, add content, make price changes, etc.

Other consultation - At times, clients want our help regarding marketing opportunities, image presentation/branding, in conjunction with or separate from website development. Consulting time is also needed when a client changes design perspective and/or functionality requirements outside the scope of the original agreement. Consultation hours are billed in 15 minute increments at the standard rate of $75 per hour or purchased time blocks can be used.
